Selfish! Cristiano Ronaldo is the biggest hog in La Liga

This season Cristiano Ronaldo has established himself as the biggest hog in La Liga. The Real Madrid forward has taken 135 shots, an average of6.43 per game. That's almost double second place, which is Lionel Messi, who has had 76 shots. 

This data isn't strange to those who follow football. Ronaldo has always been individualistic when it comes to playing. The Madrid forward plays for himself and that is reflected here. 

Despite shooting so much, Ronaldo has not scored in 10 of the 21  games he's played in La Liga, so perhaps this explains his obsession with trying to find the net. Only 40 per cent of his efforts are on target and 11.8 per cent result in goals. 

Luis Suarez, meanwhile, the current top scorer in La Liga, has two more goals than Ronaldo with 61 shots lesss. He has 24.3 per cent accuracy, with a goal every 4.1 shots, unlike Ronaldo's one every 8.4.
