Sara Carbonero will take year off and join Iker Casillas in Porto
Sara Carbonero, Iker Casillas' partner and mother to his child, has left her presenting role at Telecinco on Monday, for a year's leave. According to El Confidencial Digital she will accompany the former Real Madrid goalkeeper to Portugual, where he will play for Porto.
The journalist, who presents sports programmes, doesn't want her son to be separated from his father. Although the distance from the club to Madrid is not long, she sees it as a problem.
Carbonero started work at Telecinco six years ago, and most people remember when Casillas kissed her during an interview after the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
