Ronaldo hints he's upset by Madrid transfers

After a busy summer of incomings and outgoings at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested he's not completely happy with the business his club have done.

Xabi Alonso and Angel Di Maria both left the club last week, while Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez and Javier Hernandez have been among the arrivals at the Bernabeu this summer.

"I have a clear opinion, but I can't always say what I think," Ronaldo said, suggesting he didn't necessarily agree with president Florentino Perez's transfer dealings.

"If I do say what I think, tomorrow I would be on the front of the papers and I don't want that.

"If I was in charge, I would not do it like this, but everyone has their opinion and is free to say what they think.

"If the president thinks that it is best for the team to sign certain players and to let others leave, you must respect those decisions and support them."

With key players leaving, the Portuguese forward now expects the style of Carlo Ancelotti's team to change.

"With the new players the way we play will change," he continued.

"It could be for the better, it could be for the worse. I hope it will be for the better because they are players of a really good level.

"The norm would be for them to adapt well.

"Di Maria and Xabi were very important for us but they are gone and we have to be happy with the new signings. I am sure we will be fine."
