Real Madrid's Raphael Varane goes off with hamstring injury

French centre-back Raphael Varane was forced off during Real Madrid's trip to Shakhtar Donetsk in Lviv.

The centre-back will have to undergo medical tests, but seemed to suffer a muscular injury, in his left hamstring.

Varane went off in the 31st minute for his team-mate Danilo, thanks to the injury. This is Madrid's 14th muscular injury they have suffered this season.

Sergio Ramos is currently out injured so Madrid will be hoping that Varane's problem is not serious. The Spaniard is out until 2016 having damaged his shoulder. Pepe may have to be paired with Nacho in the meantime.
