Real Madrid's outrageous move for former Barça boss Pep Guardiola

Josep Guardiola's future is uncertain and most of Europe's big clubs would do everything they can to learn of his plans. According to the newspaper 'Ara', Real Madrid are one of the club interested in securing his services as manager.

The Bayern Munich coach is considered the best in the world by many and has a great reputation. It's well known, though, that Guardiola is a fan of the Premier League and is keen to try his luck there. And everything seems that the Catalan coach is close to a move to Manchester City.

His good relationship with Txiki Begiristain and with Ferran Soriano, who both now work for the English club, have reportedly been the key to the agreement which could see Guardiola replace Manuel Pellegrini next summer. In addition, City's team is constantly improving and the club are desperate to make an impression in the Champions League, where they have flattered to deceive so far.

Despite all those offers, Guardiola has not yet ruled out renewing his deal with Bayern, which is due to expire in 2016. Both Pep and his family are happy in Germany and Bayern play great football. If he has a little more luck with injuries, they could go one step further in the Champions League this season.

It's obvious, therefore, why Madrid would be keen. But Guardiola, who managed Barcelona for four years and played for them as a player, obviously had no interest in coaching in the Spanish capital. It would have been one of the most controversial moves ever, but Guardiola politely informed them it would not happen, per 'Ara'.
