Real Madrid want Marco Asensio to take Isco's squad place

Isco wants to leave Real Madrid to join the Premier League. The former Malaga star was a substitute against Celta Vigo, despite the team having many injuries, and doesn't want to waste any more time on the bench.

Real Madrid, and especially Florentino Perez, have to decide if they will force Isco to stay if he doesn't want to. At Los Blancos they know the potential of the player but they have another one too, in Marco Asensio. The player loaned to RCD Espanyol is showing he has a lot of quality and at Madrid they want him to play in midfield for them next season.

The characteristics of both players are similar. Isco is a player that works well with his team-mates and has a lot of "magic". It has always been said that his place was FC Barcelona and he would have triumphed alongside Iniesta, Busquets, Messi and Co. On the other hand, Marco Asensio is a highly skilled player and is highlighted for his great vision of play. He also has the capacity to score.

There's a long way to go this season and everything could change, but right now Isco has his eyes on the Premier League, and Madrid on the return of Asensio.
