Real Madrid goalkeeper coach drops in on Iker Casillas and David de Gea

Real Madrid's new goalkeeper coach dropped in on Spain's training session on Thursday to check in on Iker Casillas, and perhaps to check out Manchester United's David de Gea. 

Xavi Valero, who will move to Madrid with Rafa Benitez, was as the Ciudad del Futbol, where he chatted away with his old friend, José Manuel Ochotorena, who is the goalkeeper coach for the Spanish national team. 

Valero was presumably there to see Los Blancos stopper Casillas, who he spoke to after the session had finished for a little while. 

However, he may also have been there to see De Gea, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu. 

United have made it clear they would like to keep him, but contract talks have hit a wall and it looks like he will end up at Madrid sooner than later. 

Thursday was Valero's first chance to check him out.
