Real Betis interested in Barcelona forward Sandro

Real Betis have added their name to the list of clubs interested in signing FC Barcelona forward Sandro Ramirez this month.

The Seville-based side, who recently sacked Pepe Mel and currently have Juan Merino as their interim coach, are keen to sign the young striker as the look to boost their chances of staying in La Liga.

However, they are only looking at doing a loan deal as they do not have the finances to complete a permanent transfer.

Barça, aware of the Sandro and Munir El Haddadi’s situation in the first team, with them firmly on the fringes, are prepared to study the offers they receive.

There is only one option: Luis Enrique does not want either of them to leave until he has closed a deal for a new forward. Celia Vigo’s Nolito is well known as the Barça boss’ preference.

Any potential mood will also depend on Sandro’s preferences, with Premier League side Tottenham also interested in signing him, among other forwards, this month.

If Barça ended up selling him to Spurs, they would want a buy-back clause in the deal - something which the London club, in principle, are not willing to accept.
