Pique makes fun of the press that invented his middle finger gesture

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has returned to social media. After a few days of silence, the Spain international, who is with his country at Euro 2016 in France, has responded to the media that invented that he put his middle finger up ahead of the game against Croatia during the national anthem.

Speaking after that game, Pique had tweeted: "I’m crossing my fingers during the anthem. Stop looking for controversy where there is none and let’s try and win the European Championships together." He's now taken advantage of a video which has been made taking the mick out of the journalists that invented the middle finger story. He quote tweeted the video, adding "Top, top, top".

The video is titled "This is how some sports journalists work". It shows a supposed newsroom following the match between Spain and Croatia, when the now infamous image appeared. Pique had previously won the recognition of the whole country after scoring the winner in the opening match against the Czech Republic. Let's see if his latest tweet leads to any more problems.
