Phone call from Carlo Ancelotti angers anxious Real Madrid chiefs

If relations between Real Madrid and Barcelona are not great after the FIFA ban, Martin Odegaard's move to Los Blancos and all types of other things, a new epsiode has heightened tensions between the two clubs

An inopportune phone call from the manager of Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, to a member of the Barca staff has provoked a mini crisis in the Spanish capital.

According to '6cero', Madrid are worried about the good relationship between Ancelotti and FC Barcelona's new international sporting director, Ariedo Braida, who will start his job next week.

The same sources say that Ancelotti, who is really good friends with Braida, called the new Barca employee to congratulate him on his new job.

It's a conversation which has not gone down well with those sitting at the top of Real Madrid.

Braida took a punt on Ancelotti at Milan, following Arrigo Sacchi, and he did a great job at the San Siro.

Madrid feel the friendship is "dangerous" in regards to Los Blancos's interests.
