Perez will betray Navas again by moving for De Gea

Florentino Perez will make another move to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, carrying out his second betrayal of Keylor Navas.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper, who was almost out the door in 2015, has seemingly not benefitted from being one of Real Madrid's best players this season.

Navas, who has not forgiven Perez for what happened last summer, demanded a new contract which never arrived. The season has hardly finished and De Gea is already back on the scene.

A source close to Real Madrid admitted to SPORT that after not getting the deal done last year, Perez agreed with Jorge Mendes to pay compensation to the goalkeeper at the same time as signing a private contract to complete the signing in 2016.

In the case that they don't, Los Blancos would have to pay De Gea a sum in respect of damages, which could be more than 20 million euros.

At United, new manager Jose Mourinho is aware of what could happen and while he is looking into the possibility of keeping Victor Valdes at Old Trafford, he has ruled out signing Navas.

Therefore, Navas will lose out on a big move and will have to decide if he wants to play back up to De Gea or move to a smaller club.
