Pablo Sarabia signs for Sevilla on four year deal

Sevilla have announced on their official website that they have reached an agreement with Getafe for the services of Pablo Sarabia, a 24-year-old attacking midfielder that the Andalusian club had targeted for some time.

Sarabia is now in Seville and will have his medical on Friday, before signing a four year deal at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

The transfer will cost just under one million euros. Sarabia had renewed his deal with Getafe in February but a clause was inserted which allowed him to leave in the event that Getafe were relegated.

Formed in the Real Madrid youth setup, Sarabia is "a versatile and technical attacking midfielder who can also play on the left", according to the description made on the Sevilla website.

Despite the turbulence behind the scenes relating to the 'Monchi case' and the possible departure of manager Unai Emery to PSG, the sporting department are not resting and have snapped up Sarabia, who had spent five seasons at Getafe.
