Miroslav Djukic slams Cordoba for failing to work as hard as "even Andres Iniesta"

Cordoba manager Miroslav Djukic slammed his team after they sunk to a 5-0 defeat to Barcelona at Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon.

Pedro opened the scoring after just 75 seconds, Luis Suarez added the second, Gerard Pique the third and a late brace from Lionel Messi completed the rout, leaving Cordoba with just one win in la Liga this season.

Djukic admitted he never expected to win the game, but he certainly expected more from his players.

"I did not like anything about the game," he lamented in his post-match press conference. "We have to have a better attitude - you can win, lose or draw against Barca, but you have to do more. Barca won in third gear."

And the former Real Valladolid and Valencia boss was particularly critical off his players for putting in less effort than Andres Iniesta.

"My players came to this game to take photos and ask for shirts," he continued. "It hurts to see Iniesta playing with more aggression than us.

"In the future we will play those players that have balls, those that have got the bit between their teeth, that are up for it. If we don't have that bit between our teeth, then there is little we can do about it."

Djukic added that the story of the match ended in the first minute when Pedro scored and bemoaned the fact Luis Enrique's side were able to score from two corner kicks.

"To win at a ground like this you have to play with a lot of pride," he concluded. "And we played with none."
