10 men on Zidane and Perez's Real Madrid blacklist

10 men on Zidane and Perez's Real Madrid blacklist

Florentino Perez has said enough. Real Madrid's president has decided to clean out the dressing room and has found Zinedine Zidane to be a strong ally. The coach announced after defeat against Atletico there would "be changes" at the end of the season. And on Tuesday, attacked his players for "lacking attitude".

Perez and Zidane have put together a list of players they want out. There are 10, including sacred cows Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos.

Those two have asked to go anyway, conscious their growth at Madrid has ended, and they will look for a multi-million offer abroad, likely the Premier League. Florentino will let them go, but only for 60m and 20-25m for Ronaldo and Ramos respectively.

Pepe is the third sacred cow. As El Espanol writes, the Portuguese would like to leave instead of being part of the rejuvenated squad, like Alvaro Arbeloa who will also go.

Isco and James Rodriguez have been marked out by Perez and Zidane. Two of the most recent big money signings, but Madrid will sell them because of poor performances. Toni Kroos too, has not fit in properly, and the door is open for a return to the Bundesliga.

Finally, youngsters like Casemiro, Danilo and Jese don't seem to have much space in the new Perez project, and they may be sold to raise transfer fees for signings, with De Gea, Hazard, Pogba and Lewakdowski all on the wishlist. To sign, they will have to sell.
