Llorente targets Spain return after sealing Sevilla switch

Fernando Llorente has set his sights on returning to the Spain team after signing for Sevilla from Juventus. The former Athletic Club striker has not featured in any of Vicente del Bosque's recent squads, but he is still hopeful of having a future with the national team.

“The most important thing is to give everything for Sevilla, bue it wouldd be a dream for me to return to the national team," he said at his presentation at the Sanchez Pizjuan. "It's something which can only fall later, though."

Around 10,000 fans turned out to welcome the 30-year-old to the Sanchez Pizjuan, a detail which did not go unnoticed. "Sevilla have shown me plenty of love these last few days," he conitnued. "I arrive full of enthusiasm and will give everything.

"[Sevilla] are a club who have been growing in recent years and [manager] Unai Emery's faith in me was important. There is a great group of players here, which is important, and I believe we can win trophies this season. Third place [in the league] is also possible."
