Keylor Navas never thought he would concede against Celta Vigo

Keylor Navas says he never felt like he was going to let a goal in against Celta Vigo.

Real Madrid's stopper made several excellent saves as Los Blancos ran out 3-1 winners at Balaidos, with the Costa Rican eventually beaten by a Nolito belter.

"I felt very assured about [saving] every shot I faced. I thank God for this feeling of confidence," he said on his website.

"I'm leaving happy and satisfied, firstly because of the win and secondly because I was able to play my part by denying Celta Vigo at important moments. The goal we conceded was really well placed and tough for me to reach.

"We got a win at a tough stadium and these sorts of tests boost our belief that we can fulfil our goal of winning the title.

"We're a really close, motivated group and we enjoy these victories because they are the result of a lot of hard work, but there's a long way to go and we have to keep going."
