Kevin-Prince Boateng labelled a "galactico" by Las Palmas president

Kevin-Prince Boateng has landed in Las Palmas and was greeted by the president of the club, who labelled him a "galactico" and the player of biggest "media interest" in the history of the club. 

The central midfielder comes from Milan and arrived in Gran Canaria at midday, before his presentation in the late afternoon

Boateng, 29, "is in the best moment of his career" according to president Miguel Angel Ramirez Alonso. He added that the player had various offers from clubs in the Arab Emirates that would have equaled his Milan salary, but preferred to come to La Liga, even though he knows the objective is "survival".
