Karim Benzema in trouble AGAIN for driving without license

According to Cadena SER's El Larguero, Karim Benzema has been stopped by the police for driving without a license.

The radio show claims that he offered the police a piece of paper which he claimed gave him permission to drive provisionally.

The police took his vehicle and gave him a ticket. Real Madrid's own services came to collect the player.

Benzema had his license revoked for speeding and on May 20 was punished for the same offence, of driving without a license.

Previously, after being caught, Benzema posted a picture on Instagram of himself holding a driving license, seemingly in defiance, but was still charged with a road safety crime.

The Frenchman was not able to provide his license and the car's documentation at the time of asking, when he was stopped by police on the way to Terminal 4 at Barajas Airport.

Benzema had his license suspended in 2013 after going roughly twice the 100km/hr speed limit in Pozuelo de Alarcon.

According to Cadena Ser, the police officers could find no evidence that the player completed his compulsory re-education course after his license was suspended two years ago.

Benzema posted the above picture with a line in French from writer Anatole France.

It read: “Without lying, the truth would perish of despair and boredom. #AnatoleFrance”.
