Karim Benzema could miss the European Super Cup with injury
French striker Karim Benzema is a doubt for the European Super Cup final.
The Real Madrid man may miss the game against Sevilla on August 9, in Trondheim, Norway.
According to Diario AS, the player had some problems with a sore hip which prevented him playing a single minute of the preseason tour so far.
Benzema adds to the problem of having Cristiano Ronaldo out too, who was injured in the Euro 2016 final and will not be ready to train until just before the Super Cup.
The Frenchman is being kept in cotton wool and Madrid hope he can at least train before they play Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
