Juanfran mocks Neymar over 7-1 but Edmilson defends Barca star

Edmilson has come out in defence of his compatriot Neymar and criticised Juanfran for gesturing Brazil's 7-1 defeat to Germany during the World Cup at him. 

The Atletico Madrid right-back held up seven fingers in an attempt to wind up the Barca star and his actions have not gone down well in Brazil. 

One of the first people to defend Neymar is the former Barca player Edmilson, who used his Twitter page to respond.

"Who is that Juanfran?" he tweeted, later adding: "Juanfran, we are five time champions [of the world] and surely that gesture was provoked because you didn't know how to stop the best player from Brazil".

The former Brazilian internation wasn't finished, though, and also said that Juanfran's gesture showed "a lack of respect towards Brazil".

Hopefully the Colchonero defender wasn't planning on going on holiday to the South American country any time soon. He's unlikely to be a popular visitor.
