Jese Rodriguez to start for Madrid against Almeria; Bale could be back for Sevilla

Jese Rodriguez will start for Real Madrid in La Liga against Almeria on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old suffered an injury blow last season against Schalke just when he was beginning to prove his worth to Carlo Ancelotti.

His road to recovery has been long and he has only started one league game this season.

That game was against Eibar earlier this month, a game which he scored one of his two league goals this season in.

But Ancelotti has confirmed Jese, as well as goalkeeper Keylor Navas, will be given minutes against Almeria at the Bernabeu.

"Jese's physcial condition [since the injury] has been lacking a bit," Ancelotti explained.

"And then there has also been a lot of competition for places. He's ready to play now, though, and he will play on Wednesday.

"Keylor will also play."

Ancelotti also said that Gareth Bale will return to training on Thursday and he hopes to have the Welshman available for the Sevilla game on Saturday.

Karim Benzema is a bit further behind in his recovery, but could come into contention for the Juventus game next week.
