James Rodriguez could be in trouble for his comments with Colombia

James Rodriguez is living a double life this season. He's not felt important under Rafa Benitez or Zinedine Zidane, but with the Colombian national team he remains the golden boy. He's also much more relaxed when he's with his country...

The other day, after Colombia had beaten Ecuador, he didn't bite his tongue and made it clear he's not enjoying his role at Madrid right now: “If things are going well for Colombia, it’s because I am playing. When you have everyone’s support, you notice.”

Benitez didn't feel James was in the best shape physically when he was in charge. Since Zidane took charge, he's had opportunuties, but he hasn't reached the levels he displayed last season. The club are unlikely to like his latest comments.

Not only will they not like them, but they may also consider he has broken the internal code, according to ABC, by not accepting his role as a substitute. James' latest quotes could end up costing him, with the riot act set to be read.
