Isco will ask Madrid to let him sign for Man City

Isco is going through a difficult time at Real Madrid. His lack of minutes in Rafael Benitez’s team is beginning to annoy him and he’s now thinking about trying his luck in a different league.

Manchester City are the side making the biggest effort to sign the player and a few days ago Ferran Soriano, the club’s executive director, met with Madrid’s general director Jose Angel Sanchez in the Spanish capital.

And on Tuesday it will be the turn of Isco’s representatives to meet with Los Blancos to talk about the midfielder’s future. However, the former Malaga man has made it clear to his agents he no longer feels comfortable at Madrid.

According to The Mirror, City’s idea is to loan the player in January and complete the deal in the summer. In this sense, he would be able to count on immediate minutes to help him stay in Vicente del Bosque’s plans ahead of the European Championships.

The same story says the deal at the end of the season would see the Premier League side - who are managed by Manuel Pellegrini, Isco’s manager at Malaga - pay around 34 million euros.
