Isco enjoying football again after Rafa Benitez sacking

Isco Alarcon feels free. After not being valued by Rafa Benitez, he pleased to be an important piece of Zinedine Zidane's puzzle.

The Andalusian midfielder started the Deportivo win after several weeks without playing at all, in the final run of games before Benitez was sacked. Isco played well for 66 minutes until he went off for James Rodriguez.

After the game, the Los Blancos man hit the social networks. "Content with the victory and happy to start enjoying football again," he tweeted, a jibe aimed at Rafa.

However he later added: "I was refering to playing after some time out. Rafa is a great professional and I wish him the best of luck. A hug for all!"
