Gerard Deulofeu reflects on "difficult year" which has taught him a lot

Gerard Deulofeu has begun to say his goodbyes at Sevilla. After the final match of the La Liga season against Malaga on Saturday, Unai Emery's side only have the Europa League final left to play this season. After that, the FC Barcelona winger will return from his loan. It's a loan which has not offered as many minutes as Deulofeu would have hoped. 

He has uploaded a photo to his Instagram account on Sunday, offering his opinion on a difficult season. After a loan spell with Everton the season before, he failed to convince Luis Enrique he was worth keeping at Barça. It remains to be seen where he will be next year. 

"It has been a tough and difficult year for me," he wrote alongside the photo. "But it has perhaps also been the year in which I have learned the most. We still have the final of the Europa League left and now we focus on that. Thanks for all your support, above all those of you who are always by my side."
