Gareth Bale to undergo tests on injured calf on Monday

Real Madrid are waiting to see if Gareth Bale will be fit for the Champions League match with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

Bale was taken off after just five minutes of Saturday's win over Malaga with a calf injury.

He will go for tests on Monday and Madrid will take a decision on whether to play him against Atletico from there.

Madrid's medical staff have decided it's best to wait before doing the tests.

The biggest fear is that the Welsh international has suffered a tear in his left calf muscle

Carlo Ancelotti is already without Marcelo and Luka Modric for Wednesday's clash with Atletico.

Marcelo is suspended and Modric was another casualty of the Malaga game -- he will be out for around six weeks.
