Florentino Perez wants to make Marco Verratti Real Madrid's next 'galactico'

Florentino Perez has a new "galactico" in his eyes. It's PSG central midfielder Marco Verratti. 

Real Madrid had problems in their midfield, with injuries to Luka Modric, James Rodriguez and Sami Khedira and it's a position they want to reinforce.

It won't be easy to sign the Italian star, because he renewed his contract with Paris Saint-Germain last September and the French club are hoping to keep him.

Verratti, who would like to play for Madrid but is also comfortable where he is, said: "If PSG don't want me to go, my priority is to stay here. It's a great team with a great project."

It would take an offer of at least €60million to persuade PSG to part with their star.
