Florentino Perez not convinced about Keylor Navas

Real Madrid stopper Keylor Navas is the new idol of the fans. A player that Florentino perez is still not putting his faith in to be the main goalkeeper for the team's new project. The Costa Rican, signed for €10m in August 2014, has filled the gap left by Iker Casillas and the failed signing of David de Gea from Manchester United. 

Casillas left in the summer after a disappointing season, joining Porto, and Perez wanted De Gea to replace him. After a long stand-off Madrid moved for the goalkeeper on deadline day, but the move failed to be completed by midnight and the deal was off. 

Regardless of whether Navas becomes the hero of the team this season, Perez will move again for De Gea next summer. He made the goalkeeper a promise and he will stick by it.
