Five La Liga teams in the Champions League after Sevilla cliinch Europa League

Spain will have five teams in next season's Champions League following Sevilla's exciting 3-2 win against Dnipro in the Europa League final in Warsaw on Wednesday night.

Carlos Bacca scored the winner in the second half after an opening period that produced four goals.

Dnipro took the lead early on through a header from Nikola Kalinić, but Sevilla hit back through Grzegorz Krychowiak and Bacca.

A wonderful free-kick from Ruslan Rotan pulled the Ukrainian side level just before half-time.

But Colombian striker Bacca, Sevilla's top scorer for the past two seasons, appeared again to claim the trophy after the break.

Unai Emery has now guided his side to the Europa League for the last two seasons, with the club total rising to four trophies in the competition -- more than any other club.

After missing out on a Champions League spot in the league, despite hitting 76 points, few can argue Sevilla are worthy of their spot in the competition next season.

This is the first year that the winners of the Europa League have gained entry into the Champions League.

It means that La Liga will have five representatives: Sevilla, Valencia, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
