Derik is set to leave Real Madrid after 13 years at the club

Spain U21 international Derik Osede has explained on social media that he will be leaving Real Madrid's Castilla after 13 years in the club's youth system, in order to "go on a new adventure."

The 22-year-old defender showed gratitude to Real Madrid on Instagram, as they have permitted him "to experience the best moments" of his life and years as a player.

According to the player himself, he is leaving the club in order "to embark on a new adventure" with the hope that "a 'goodbye' will become a 'see you later'."

Derik arrived at Real Madrid's youth academy at the age of eight, and has since moved onwards to play for the first team in an unofficial game during the Trofeo Bernabeu in 2012.

Last season, he played under the tutelage of Zinedine Zidane. He played a total of 22 games and was the third captain of the side.
