Around 300 invitees, including players and coaches represented by Jorge Mendes' agency, Gestifute, like Cristiano Ronaldo, who was the best man, Fabio Coentrao, Pepe and Jose Bosingwa.
Others included Paulo Futre and Maniche, Deco, Florentino Perez, Roman Abramovich and Benfica's Luis Filipe Vieira. Sir Alex Ferguson was also present at the ceremony.
Jorge Mendes, 49, married Sandra Barbosa in the church Sao Joao Baptista, whom he has three children with.
Ronaldo bought Mendes, according to Portuguese news sources, an island in Greece as a present.
The country put a number of its Islands up for sale because of their financial problems and Ronaldo capitalised.
