Celta Vigo officially announce the signing of Evian's Daniel Wass

Celta Vigo announced their signing of Denmark international midfielder Daniel Wass this Monday, who joins from French side Evian and has signed a contract with the club until the 30th June 2019.

Daniel Wass, who turned 26 on the 31st of May, started his career at Brondby, and after a brief loan at Norwegian club Fredrikstad, signed for Benfica in 2011. The Portuguese side loaned him to Evian, who ended up buying the player a year later.

Wass, who played for Denmark in the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine in 2012, has played 133 games in France, scoring 23 goals and providing 12 assists, with his club being relegated to Ligue 2 this season.

The Dane will be presented on his return from his holidays and is the second player brought in by Eduardo Berizzo for the coming 2015/2016 season, after striker Iago Aspas.
