Carlo Ancelotti knows that he will not be Real Madrid manager next season

Carlo Ancelotti will not continue as Real Madrid manager next season. And he knows it. At least, that is what Marca are reporting. They explain that the Italian's camp know that Florentino Perez has made his desicion, although the two have not yet had a meeting.

Ancelotti has now accepted the information as definite and understands this is how Perez does his business. He will not kick up a fuss about the remaining season on the three-year deal he signed in 2013.

Despite all of that, though, and the talk of Madrid sounding out several other managers, Ancelotti said in his press conference on Friday that his "feeling" was that he would "countinue" as the club's coach.

"My feeling is that I am going to continue," he said before Saturday's match with Getafe. "It's normal that the club takes stock of the situation. I have the confidence and the enthusiasm to continue at this club. I like the players and the city.

"I've still not spoke with the club, so I continue to think that I will be the manager until I am told otherwise. That has not happened. I think on Sunday or Monday, after the game, we will meet and talk about mine and the club's future."
