Carlo Ancelotti could spring a surprise in his Real Madrid side on Saturday

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Sergio Ramos is fit and will be able to partner Pepe for Real Madrid in Saturday's Clasico against Barcelona.

The Madrid boss also hinted that there could be a surprise in his starting line up.

"Pepe is good and so is Sergio Ramos," Ancelotti revealed.

"They've trained well and [Ramos] has completely recovered. I think they will both play."

Luis Enrique still has various questions to answer with regards to his lineup at the Bernabeu, but most people believe Ancelotti will go with: Casillas, Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Kroos, Modric, Isco, James, Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema.

However, the Italian could have something up his sleeve.

"If I play one player then another one has to make way," he continued.

"I’m not going to revert to a three-man defence, but I may look to play an extra forward at the expense of a midfielder or vice-versa.

"I like surprises. There may be one in tomorrow’s starting line-up."
