Atletico Madrid 2-0 Galatasaray: Griezmann does the trick

Antoine Griezmann's double sealed victory for Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon over Galatasaray.

They capitalised on Benfica's slip up against FC Astana to go joint top of the table with the Portuguese side on 10 points. 

Diego Simeone's side are guaranteed to reach the last 16 but must travel to Portugual to face Benfica in their final group game, which will decide if they finish top or second.

Both their goals against Galatasaray were similar, with Gabi crossing for Griezmann to nod home the first and roll home the second.

Wesley Sneijder had a great chance for the Turkish side moments before Atletico scored the opener, but the Dutchman fired wide of the far post.
