Asensio and Burgui had permission to travel to Madrid game

Marco Asensio, Burgui and Rober Correa were present at the Santiago Bernabeu for Real Madrid’s Champions League win over Manchester City. They were invited by Los Blancos and travelled with the permission of Espanyol. There was no lack of discipline on the part of the three Pericos players, who returned for training the following morning.

Remember that Marco Asensio and Burgui are both on loan at Cornella-El Prat from Madrid until the end of the current season. In the case of the latter, Espanyol have an option to buy him in the summer. Robert Correa was in the academy at Rayo Vallecano.

Essence and Burgui were invited to the Bernabeu by Jose Angel Sanchez, Madrid’s general director. They both had permission form Espanyol to travel as long as they were back in time for Thursday’s training session. They were.

After the game, the three Espanyol players dined with some of the Madrid players who they maintain a good relationship from their time in the Madrid academy and/or with whom they have played international football with at various levels. But after that they returned to the hotel and didn’t carry on with the party.

Asensio, Burgui and Rober didn’t miss training and are fully focused on Espanyol’s game against Barcelona at Camp Nou this Sunday.
