Aritz Aduriz unhappy with Copa del Rey final at Camp Nou

Athletic Club striker Aritz Aduriz is not impressed with the venue for the Copa del Rey final. 

The Spanish cup finale will be held at the Camp Nou, with the Bilbao team traveling to face Barcelona in what is essentially a home match for Luis Enrique's side. 

Aduriz, who has just recovered from injury, said: "I’m thinking closely about the league match, I’d rather not focus too much on the final yet. 

"[The venue] is something I have an opinion on, but it’s not a very positive one. We should start by thanking somebody at Madrid. 

"It’s an incredible opportunity, however, and one we’re ready to experience."

Aduriz mentions Madrid because both teams wanted to play at the Santiago Bernabeu, but they were not allowed to. 

At 34, Aduriz should be heading towards retirement, in theory, but the striker has been excellent this season and is among the finest centre-forwards in La Liga.
