Zidane equals Mourinho stat and closes in on unbeaten record

Although some claim he is lucky, it's undeniable that Zinedine Zidane is making history at Real Madrid. Their last minute goal earned Los Blanco a 1-1 draw at Camp Nou on Saturday and it meant Zidane's team have now gone 33 matches without tasting defeat.

If Madrid do not stumble against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night they will match their all-time longest streak of 34 games.

Zidane has also, with the Clasico draw, equalled Jose Mourinho's record as the Real Madrid manager with the longest away unbeaten run, of 17 games.

Madrid are top of La Liga by six points, with Barcelona second behind them.
