UEFA reveal Kyiv has been chosen to host 2018 Champions League final

New UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin's first full day in office has seen the announcement of the host for the 2017-18 Champions League final. 

The NSK Olympiyskyi stadium in Kyiv, Ukraine, has been chosen to host the 2018 final of Europe's top competition on May. 26. 

The decision was taken at Thursday's UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Athens.

Meanwhile, Lyon, France, will host the final of the Europa League in the same season, while the winners of those two competitions will then contest the European Super Cup in Tallin, Estonia. 

The final of this season's Champions League will be played Jun. 3 at Cardiff's National Stadium of Wales.
