Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale back training with the Real Madrid group

The captain of Real Madrid Sergio Ramos and Welshman Gareth Bale have returned to the group in the second weekly training session, to prepare the league clash against Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Also on Wednesday morning, the Portuguese duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Fabio Coentrao increased their rhythm, as they worked for a part of their session with the ball.

However, Real Madrid expect to be without Cristiano Ronaldo for the game against Celta, at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The forward is totally recovered from his knee injury, suffered during the Euro 2016 final, but Zinedine Zidane is closer to reserving him for after the international break.

He hopes that the player will not be called up by his national team, for a friendly and their first qualification game for the 2018 World Cup.

With Cristiano and Coentrao working separately from the main group, another two players did not take part with their teammates, both Karim Benzema and Keylor Navas. They will also be missing at the weekend.

After being absent from Tuesday's session, Ramos and Bale were back for a workout which the club's website descibed as the toughest of the week, lasting almost two hours.

An initial part involved a physical circuit in the gym and on the pitches, followed by a series of ball possession and pressing phases, crosses from wide with finishes and matches on small-sized pitches.
