They can move level on points with Madird if they win the Seville derby on Saturday

Sevilla's Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli wants to win the derby against Real Betis on Sunday and move level at the top of La Liga.

"On the pitch you can take these games as a unique opportunity to give joy to the fans (like Betis), or think like us in what we have in front of us in reaching the top of the table," he said in a press conference on Friday.

After Real Madrid's loss at Valencia on Wednesday, Sevilla could move level with Madrid with a win on Saturday at the top of the table -- they'd have played two games more -- ahead of Zinedine Zidane's game on Sunday at Villarreal.

"Like any person in football that dreams, we are dreaming of this possibility [going top]. It will be complicated, because Betis are good at home, make things uncomfortable for their opposition, but it's a unique opportunity to keep up with the leaders and dream of being up the top," the Sevilla coach added.

Sampaoli said the Champions League win over Leicester City has hindered preparation for the game, but "the Real Madrid result has given us a chance to live a dream. The team has to win to keep picking up points."
