Madrid's Alvaro Morata was offside for his goal against Celta Vigo

Alvaro Morata's goal that helped Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo was offside. He scored the first in a 2-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As Andujar Oliver, the referee said on Radio MARCA, "Morata is offside at the start of the play, in which he makes Celta's defence uncomfortable before he took the rebound from Asensio's shot and scored."

Modric stole the ball back after an error from Sergio the goalkeeper, passing to Asensio, whose effort was saved but Morata pounced to score.

Celta Vigo equalised through Orellana but then Toni Kroos grabbed a late winner for Madrid.
