Josep Bartomeu: We will announce the new coach on May 29
He said there was no doubt that the Barcelona-Messi marriage would continue
Bartomeu added they were grateful to Lucho for his hard work
Josep Maria Bartomeu spoke to Barcelona TV and Movistar after the Barcelona's win over Eibar.
'We have a board meeting on Monday May 29 and we will then announce the name of the new coach. Valverde? He's a coach whose contract is ending."
He also spoke about Messi, who the club are trying to agree a new contract with, "There's no doubt that the Messi-Barca marriage will continue," he said.
Bartomeu added, on Luis Enrique: "We are grateful to Luis Enrique for these years of effort and self-drive. We have open doors (for him). But now there's the Copa del Rey final, an important trophy. We have a week to prepare for it and we will focus on that."
