Isco Alarcon is the great fiasco of Florentino Perez and Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon, signed from Malaga in 2013, has not progressed as expected by the club hierarchy.

The Andalusian no longer fits into the plans of Zinedine Zidane and in the next few hours could leave the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu if the right offer arrives on the table.

Sources close to the 24-year-old state that Isco has already taken the decision to leave Real after three seasons in the Spanish capital, where he has been unable to secure a regular place in the club's starting 11.

Zidane is not convinced by the Spaniard's quality and given his age, Isco wants to play and continue his development as a player even if it means he has to leave the reigning Champions League winners.

The truth is that, as of today, Isco is a thorn in the side of Real president Florentino Perez.

JUVENTUS INTEREST?

There are several teams that have already shown an interest in Isco, one of those being Juventus.

The Bianconeri were the first to enquire about the player's availability and are highly interested in securing his services.

Tottenham Hotspur are also following developments closely in the remaining hours of the transfer window.

Isco still has two years left on his contract with Real and has played a total of 150 games, scoring 20 goals and reaching 35 assists.

He has won the Champions League twice, one Copa del Rey, two European Super Cups and one Club World Cup during his time with Los Blancos.
