Gareth Bale wants a lot more money than Real Madrid will offer

Gareth Bale's new contract not only is not signed but isn't even close to being signed according to OK Diario. The difference between Real Madrid's proposal and the money Bale wants is huge, and could cause a new internal conflict in the Madrid dressing room.

Despite British newspaper the Sunday Express claiming a deal was sealed , the latest news story says Madird are unwilling to pay him more than 10 million a year. That figure would include variables related to his individual performance and also the team as a collective. Bale, meanwhile, wants 17m, just one less than Cristiano Ronaldo gets. 

Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett does not waste time and has mentioned that Manchester United are extremely interested and would be able to offer 20m a season.
