Dani Carvajal joked about Barça sanction... but tables have turned
"Come on, let's go call the CAS, let's go and call the CAS," joked Dani Carvajal during a Madrid training session in January 2015. A few days had passed since the Court of Arbitration for Sport had snubbed Barcelona's appeal to get their transfer ban lifted. Los Blancos celebrated because they benefited indirectly. In training after a dispute in a rondo, Carvajal brought up the incident with this phrase.
A year and a half later, the shoe is on the other foot. Neither Madrid or Atletico can sign until 2018... we wonder if the Barcelona squad will react to this news.
