Atletico Madrid 3-0 Eibar: One foot in the semis

Atletico Madrid virtually secured their place in the Copa del Rey semi-finals with a 3-0 win over Eibar at the Vicente Calderon.

They took the lead in the 28th minute when Koke pinged a free kick into the area from near the halfway line, with Yoel rushing out to reach it and not getting there, with Jose Gimenez nodding it to Antoine Greizmann to head home.

The second came after Yannick Carrasco's run, with Angel Correa stabbing into the net from close range, for the 500th goal scored in the Simeone era.

And Kevin Gameiro was on hand to head in the third, after a Koke set piece was flicked on by both Gimenez and Griezmann.
