Bartomeu spoke ahead of Barcelona's Copa del Rey final clash with Alaves
Josep Maria Bartomeu, FC Barcelona president, showed his optimism at the directors' lunch ahead of the Copa del Rey final. Over 200 people were present at the Vicente Calderon lunch event.
Bartomeu said: "We take on this final with a lot of belief. We have had a lot of success in these years and we come to the Calderon to win and so that our fans can leave happy and content. It will not be easy because Alaves are having a great season. I hope that it will be an explosion of football for the fans."
He added: "To be in the final is good news for Barcelonismo. The competition is hard, but we like it and to reach the final fills us with enthusiasm. I think it will be a well competed final, but above all fair play between fans and good play. We want to end up winning too for Luis Enrique."
