Barcelona defender Jordi Alba missed training on Wednesday as Barcelona returned to work to prepare for Saturday's Clasico against Real Madrid.
Alba did not take part in the session with the rest of the group, overseen by coach Ernesto Valverde at the Ciudad Deportiva in Sant Joan Despi.
The left-back, who in theory will be in the Barça side on Saturday, worked on his own, instead, as did Arda Turan, who is much less likely to even be in the squad at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Also missing were Samuel Umtiti, Paco Alcacer and Gerard Deulofeu, all injured and out of the Clasico, although the latter may be fit in time.
The rest of the first team squad took part in the group session, the first since Monday after they were given Tuesday off.
