Zidane says Ronaldo is not tired and hopes the goals will come soon

Ronaldo has failed to score in La Liga since returning from his suspension

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane spoke after his side's 2-0 win over Espanyol, saying that everyone is disappointed for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still without a goal in La Liga this season.

Isco scored the two goals as Madrid earned their first win of the league season at the Bernabeu, following two draws and one loss in their opening three home matches.

"It is not that [Ronaldo] is tired, just the opposite -- he was out for a lot of games," Zidane told Movistar.

"We are a bit disappointed for him as he has not yet scored in La Liga, but this is football. His assist for Isco was phenomenal. I hope things change in the next game."

While Ronaldo has not yet scored in La Liga, he did score in the Spanish Super Cup win over Barcelona at Camp Nou.

The Portugal international has also scored in both his Champions League appearances this season, including a brace against Borussia Dortmund last week.

However, since returning from suspension he's yet to break his duck in La Liga, firing blanks against Real Betis, Alaves and Espanyol.
